Halfway Reflection

1) I believe that this course has helped me pay attention to niches where a potential product could make waves and be successful. I think this course has helped me think more intuitively. It helps me think both like a consumer, and a marketer/producer. 

2) I feel like this course has made me feel like giving up more than once, but particularly in the beginning. In the beginning, I did not know where I wanted to go with my product. I knew it would be important as the semester went on, so I wanted it to be sustainable and interesting for me to work on. I knew the class was a very open forum, so I resolved by coming up with what I thought would be a useful product. I believe this class has made me more tenacious, and I have found myself looking for more ways to achieve things than I might have previously.

3) my three tips are: 
     a) believe in yourself: You might think you're not creative enough, but you are
     b) work hard: The class has a lot of assignments, so don't get behind, because it's very rewarding to finish it all
     c) think like an entrepreneur as often as possible: This one speaks for itself. It will help you immensely in this class.

    Great job on going into detail in all 3 parts and giving great examples of your personal experience with this course. I do agree with you I also had a hard time figuring out where I wanted to go with my product. I liked your 3 tips, especially the third one thinking like entrepreneur will help you out in this class. Overall Great Job.

These aren't just any cupholders though. These cupholders are designed to meet the needs of a market that was yet to be touched by a major retailer. My product was inspired through the opportunity of the need for a secure way to transport beverages of all sizes in one’s car cupholder. The opportunity, from my perspective, is just as much the unmet need as it is the customer. Through this opportunity, I found the chance for innovation. Enter the Secure Carry Cupholder .
