Testing the Hypothesis, Part 2

Who? Although there were people I interviewed who fell outside the boundary (were not afraid of spilling their drinks in the car), I feel that none of them really are outside the boundary. This is because all the people I interviewed were drivers, and all of them said they had spilled drinks in the car before. 

What? I think in this particular sense, the need I have identified, better cupholders for cars, is effectively the same thing as better cups to hold drinks in. For that reason, I do not think I have delved into something separate than I originally set out to research.

Why? For the same reason that I found the 'What?' to be within the scope of my research, I will say that even though they were outsiders, they were drivers, and they did fear spilling their drinks because they had done so before.

These aren't just any cupholders though. These cupholders are designed to meet the needs of a market that was yet to be touched by a major retailer. My product was inspired through the opportunity of the need for a secure way to transport beverages of all sizes in one’s car cupholder. The opportunity, from my perspective, is just as much the unmet need as it is the customer. Through this opportunity, I found the chance for innovation. Enter the Secure Carry Cupholder .
