Solving the Problem

1) My selected opportunity is the problem of beverage spillage in cars around the United States (and world). The insufficiency of car cupholders causes beverage spillage to thousands of drivers annually.

2) The product I intend to sell to combat this problem is an adaptable car cupholder device. The device will have a weight in the bottom part (the part that goes in the cupholder) in order to keep it sturdy and prevent spillage. It will also have adjustable grips for the sides of the beverage in the holding part of the device. It will have a release button that opens the grips widely, and a form fitting button that tightly and securely adjusts the grips to the dimensions of your beverage.

    This is a unique idea and I believe many people would purchase your product if it was well advertised to them, as there exists this need. I can honestly see something like this making it onto Shark Tank if executed correctly. It would obviously be more helpful if you had a sketch of the product, as I am having a hard time picturing what it would look like, but the assignment does not call for that so I completely understand why you do not have a sketch. Overall, clever idea.

These aren't just any cupholders though. These cupholders are designed to meet the needs of a market that was yet to be touched by a major retailer.
